God's Not Done with You.
Do you ever feel like God’s done with you? There’s no point in trying to be good anymore?
In the Book of Mormon in 3 Nephi Jesus speaks to the people and teaches of his love and mercy.
How oft have I gathered you as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and have nourished you.
And again, how oft would I have gathered you as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, yea, . . . yea, how oft would I have gathered you as a hen gathereth her chickens . . .
O ye house of Israel whom I have spared, how oft will I gather you as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, if ye will repent and return unto me with full purpose of heart.
God tells us that if we will make effort to change and return to a better life with Him, then we will be gathered to him, “as a hen gathered her chickens.”
He uses this analogy of a hen gathering her chickens four times in three verses. Four times! There is a word that changes through the different times. He says “how oft HAVE I gathered” followed by “WOULD I” and then “WILL I”. To me, this tells me Christ loves us. Our past self (would), our present self (have), and our future self (will).
No matter where you are at God meets you where you are. God’s never done with you. Don’t give up on yourself. I think we will find that his love and mercy extends much further than we can comprehend. Change and return! I’m working on this every day.

Love this!!
